Rooted in Columbia
since 1979.
For over 45 years, Columbia Carpet Cleaning has served homes and businesses across Columbia and mid-Missouri. A lot has changed since 1979 — but our dedication to our customers and our commitment to quality never have.

Eric & Dana Chole.
A Columbia family at the heart of a Columbia business.
Eric has been part of Columbia Carpet Cleaning since 2009, and in 2016 he and his wife, Dana Chole, purchased the business. Both Eric and Dana are graduates of the University of Missouri, with degrees in nutrition and exercise physiology.
Dana went on to earn her doctorate in physical therapy, working as a pediatric physical therapist and a professor at the University of Missouri’s PT School. Together, Eric and Dana are raising three daughters — Morgan, Ellie, and Sadie.
Switched Adapted Toys.
Beyond carpets, Eric and Dana are cofounders of Switched Adapted Toys, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Its mission is to teach healthcare providers and parents of children with physical and cognitive disabilities how to adapt toys for their kids.
In short: they take toys off the shelf and rewire them so children can play using larger, more accessible buttons. Each year, Switched Adapted Toys gives away hundreds of toys to children with disabilities — at no cost.
- A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
- Adapting toys for accessible, switch-based play
- Hundreds of toys given to kids each year, free of charge
